"UNIK" Brand Pipe Fittings are manufactured keeping in mind the fact that they are often used on underground and concealed piping installations and the fault, therefore, cannot easily be detected and rectified.  Great attention is, therefore, paid to ensure that no breakage or leakage occurs anywhere in service.  Each fitting is subjected to a multistage inspection which ensures accuracy and durability of the fittings in all types of industrial, agricultural, domestic and other piping installations.  Our registered trade mark "UNIK" appears on all our fittings.

Threads
Threaded as per IS : 554-1975, parallel female and taper male threads.

Finish
Galvanized finish tested in accordance with provisions contained in IS : 4759-1985.

Test and Working Pressure
"UNIK" Brand Pipe Fittings are tested for leakage at an internal hydraulic pressure of 25kgf/cm2 or at an internal air pressure of 7.5kgf/cm2.  The maximum working pressure for water is 18kgf/cm2 and for oil, stream (saturated) gas, air, it is 11kgf/cm2 at ambient temperature.
